Four killed in Gorkha landslide including foreigner
Four persons including a foreigner died when a landslide struck them at Keramja village in Manaslu region of Gorkha district on Thursday. According to Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhatta, three among the deceased have been identified as Dorje Lama, Chiri Sherpa and Ranjana Basnet.
The identity of the foreigner is yet to be established although the nationality is said to be Spanish. CDO Bhatta informed six persons were injured in the incident. Preparations are underway to airlift the injured persons to Kathmandu for treatment, he added.
